Videographers starting wage
Working wage $9.04/hour
Use of videographer’s camera + $1.00/hour
Use of videographer’s tripod + $.50/hour
Wage increases are based on:
Quality of work Not missing any paying clients we are suppose to tape, keeping the subject in the frame, following the subject smoothly, focus and lighting issues correct, filling the frame with the subject, providing footage before and after “prime” footage for editing, good radio usage
Consentience worker Punctual, clean and neat presentation to clientele, consistent email and/or phone contact regarding availability, care for equipment, ability to problem solve
Self educating Desire to learn terms, rules, etc. of venues we are taping, desire to improve personal video taping techniques, desire to see own work (and others) and learn
EDITOR WAGE BREAKDOWN - Prices effective 1/1/2012
Editors starting pay
One time $25.00 flat payment (For spending time to learn the editing system, equipment, and software)
Editors starting wage
Working hourly wage $9.04/hour
>Only for undefined projects (non-contracted or unknown length of editing time)
>For "extra" office projects (packaging, duplicating, inspecting, verifying, address lables, etc.)
Set Project Wages - projects we create on a regular basis
Individual Order projects (i.e. equestrian events, agility trials)
Creating timelines: $1.50/timeline created
Editing timelines: $2.25 to $4.30/timeline edited (rate determined by Project Organizer and depends on length of time it takes to edit said timeline)
Multiple Tape Projects (rate determined by Project Organizer)
1 hour tape - 1 hour edit; $9.04/tape
1 hour tape - 2 hours to edit; $18.08/tape
1 hour tape - 3 hours to edit; $27.12/tape
>These Projects may be edited at editor's home (determined by Project Organizer)
>Download time is expected trade off for driving time & gas
Contracted Projects
$9.04/hour length of contracted time
Wage increases are based on:
Quality of work Accuracy of work, efficiency of work, knowledge of editing software, creativity relating to the project at hand, ability to limit creativity relating to contracted time allowed
Consentience worker Consistent email and/or phone contact regarding availability, care for editing equipment, cleanliness of editing station; keeping project together, ability to problem solve
Self educating Desire to learn terms, rules, etc. of venues we are taping, desire to improve personal editing techniques, desire to see finished product (and others) and learn
