Assessing the Lesson Horse

with Lisa Wysocky

Lesson horses are the backbone of any instructor’s barn, but they are not cut from the same cloth. Being able to assess the conformation and disposition of horses will help determine suitability of each horse to a specific program’s use. This step by step practical look at real lesson horses from head to hoof will educate instructors on what to look for in order to find the best equine partners for their particular program.

Running time: 42 minutes
