In riding, skill development is closely related to strength and balance. Riders must develop correct fundamentals in order to learn and execute more advanced skills. This session utilizes equitation exercises to improve a stable lower leg foundation, balance, softness, and ability to move with the horse. Exercises for beginners to advanced riders will be discussed as well as tailoring exercises to specific rider needs. Viewers of this video will be challenged with fun, effective exercises to try on their own or to teach their students to build their riding core while making the most of their riding time.
