Simple Lead Changes

with Christy Landwehr

Christy does an outstanding job of demonstrating how to take a complex task and break it down into simple progressive steps for the rider. The viewer will witness how to teach a topic that appears to be exclusively a one-on-one subject and turn it into a group lesson. This will include exercises to prepare to do the simple changes, setting up the arena for success, and coaching through the various “challenges” that come up when teaching this topic to multiple riders on various horses. In addition to gaining insights for improving their riding simple changes, the viewer will also improve their teaching techniques on the subject.
